The Leslie V. & Stella J. Raymond Foundation

Eligibility

Select organizations that serve the Willapa Harbor area in alignment with the Leslie V. and Stella J. Raymond Foundation’s mission are eligible to receive unrestricted funding on an annual basis. Eligibility is by invitation only.

Funding

The funds are provided with minimal restrictions. Organizations can use the funds for any aspect of their mission with the following exceptions: Funds cannot be used for employee salaries; funds cannot be re-donated or passed through to other non-profit organizations.

Funds available as perennial, unrestricted awards typically range from $500-$3,000

Application

The Foundation reviews the eligibility list annually. Invitations to apply are typically emailed in late October and include instructions on the application process. Applications are due by December 31st^* and all eligible applicants are guaranteed to receive a grant award.

^*Youth sports associations are notified of eligibility in October but should apply for funds 2-3 months prior to the start of their season, not by the December deadline.

Relationship to Annual Grants

In addition to the perennial, unrestricted grants, the Leslie V. and Stella J. Raymond Foundation awards annual (non-recurring) grants for specific community needs. These grants are typically larger and the funds are more heavily restricted.

Organizations that are eligible for perennial (unrestricted) grants are encouraged to apply for annual grants when they have a specific need. Receipt of a perennial grant award does not impact eligibility for annual grants.
